ELECTRIC ARC
In this method, a controlled DC electrical current arc is used to melt two consumable electrodes (wires) which constantly approach so that the arc remains continuous. The melted particles are atomised, accelerated and driven towards the surface of the part by a pressurized gas, which can be either compressed air or inert gas.
